A get well soon card

Hoi allemaal,

Ik kreeg van de week te horen dat een mevrouw waar ik bij werk niet aan haar hart
geopereerd kan worden, haar conditie is te slecht, eerst met medicijnen proberen.
Ik wilde haar toch even laten weten dat ik aan haar denk, ook al ga ik bijna met vakantie,
en heb dus deze kaart voor haar gemaakt.

Ik was een beetje van slag en dus inspiratieloos, maar toen zag ik een berichtje dat je aan de sketch challenge van Tiets mee kon doen. Nu maakt zij verschrikkelijk mooie kaarten, dus daar kwam ineens mijn kaart-sketch voorbij.

De kikker is van Yvonne Creations, had ik toevallig vorige week van iemand overgenomen
(bestaat toeval wel eigenlijk?) en die heb ik ingekleurd met Derwent potloden,
Het papier komt uit een doosje, ooit gekocht bij de Action - daar kon je een boekje mee maken,
De ronde doily en de vlinderrand zijn van Joy - Noor Design die blijven geweldig, net zoals de tekst stempel, het hartje is van Memory-box, die heb ik geplakt op en houten hartje, het takje is van Spellbinders,
De houten vogeltjes en vlinders zijn van de Xenos.

This week I got the news that a lady for whom I work needs surgery on her heart, but that this is not going to happen since her condition will not allow it, now she first has to try it with only medication.
 I wanted to let het know I think of her, eventhough I am almost going on a holiday, and that why I made her this card.

I was a little upset when I got this bad news and that led to a lack of inspiration, but than I saw a message that there was a new challenge of Tiets. Her cards are absolutely gorgeous and that is where I finally got some inspiration.

The frog is from Yvonne Creations, which I bought from someone last week by coincidence (does coincidences ever even happen?) and I colored it with Derwent pensils.
The paper is from a box I bought at a small store and it was supposed to be used to create a booklet.
The round doily and butterflyborder are from Joy - Noor Design and they remain awsome no matter how much I use them :D, the heart is from Memory-box and I glued this on a wooden heart, the branch is a Spellbinder.
The wooden birds and butterflies are from the 'Xenos' which is a shop in the Netherlands.

Happy Tilda summery box

Hoi allemaal,

Voor de challenge 't Scraphuis moest je zomerdoosje maken.
Nou, ik vind hem aardig zomers.

Happy Tilda heb ik ingekleurd met Derwent potloden, de boom en het vogelhuisje
met vogeltjes, en het hekje zijn van Marianne Design, de mooie tak onder de bloementoef
is Joy - Noor Design, de kapoentjes en de houten vlinders en vogel komen van de Xenos,
de tekst heb ik gemaakt op de computer en gestanst, het papier en lint zijn weer uit mijn
voorraad, ooit een pakket gekocht bij de Aldi, daar zat het leuke zomerse vruchtjespapier in.

De boom heb ik 2x gestanst en achter elkaar geplakt, geeft een leuk effect vind ik.
Ik vond dit weer een leuke opdracht en ben heel blij dat ik de mal van het doosje,
van Dutch Doobadoo, heb gekregen voor mijn verjaardag, zo kon ik gelukkig ook meedoen.

For the challenge of 't Scraphuis you had to make a little summerbox.
Well, I think it turned out pretty summery :D

Happy Tilda is colored with Derwent pensils, the tree,birdhouse with birds
and the fench are from Marianne Design, the beautiful branch hidden under all the flowers is from Joy - Noor Design, the ladybugs, the wooden butterfly and wooden bird are from my stock,
The text I made up myself and printed it with the computer, the paper and ribbons are once again from my stock.

I cut the tree out twice and pasted these behind each other, this gives it a fun effect I think.
I thought this was a very fun challenge to particiate in and I was especially happy I could put the Dutch Doobadoo die I got for my birthday to good use.

Vintage card

Hoi allemaal,

Dit is een kaart die ik in Juli heb gemaakt, voor mijn tante die 90 werd.
Ik wilde meedoen met een uitdaging van Tiets, maar ik krijg hem niet gepost
dus ik plaats hem gewoon op mijn blog.
De uitdaging was heel leuk en ik vind mijn uitwerking ook heel geslaagd ;)
Het plaatje is dacht ik van Nellie net zoals de mooie bloemenmal, de takjes en
de vogelkooi zijn Joy - Noor design, de twee hartjes met het strikje zijn van Memory Box,
de doily heb ik ooit gekocht op een beurs, het papier en het kant zijn weer uit mijn voorraad.

This card was made in July, for my aunt who turned 90.
I wanted to participate in a challenge of Tiets, but for some reason it doesnt want to get posted there so I'm just going to show it on my blog.
The challenge was really fun and I think I used the concept in a good way :D
The picture is I think from Nellie just like the flower, the branches and birdcage are from Joy - Noor Design, the two hearts adn bow are from Memorybox,
The doily was bought at a market, the paper and lace is from my stock.
